Challenge

Spark enthusiasm for civic engagement among students and coaches.

The All Vote No Play initiative worked with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and student-athlete leaders across the USA to unanimously pass a law to make Election Day a dedicated day for civic engagement annually.

They needed an engaging brand that distinguished them from other political initiatives to get their message out and maximize their reach.

outcome

Create a dynamic yet completely non-partison brand identity.

Drawing inspiration from college athletics, historic protest posters, and online GIF culture, we developed a non-partisan visual identity with impactful typography, a dynamic logo and a bold yet politically-neutral color palette.

visual identity: This concept of movement extends to the dynamic logo, supporting the idea that sports and civic engagement need to share space.
IMPACT

Building a foundation of engaged and informed student-athletes.

With a new look, amplified voice, and a strong purpose ahead, All Vote No Play held a virtual event supported by Condoleezza Rice, Steph Curry, among other politicians and players alike. Students from across the country supported the mission by hosting over 200 watch parties.
